The PREVER Awards

The General Council of Industrial Relations and Labour Sciences, (CGRICT), aware of the importance of the prevention of occupational risks in the world of Industrial Relations, proceeded in the year 1998 to the creation of a distinction so-called “To PROVIDE for” in relation to the meaning of the saying castilian “best to anticipate what did not come in that dispute about what happened,” thanks to the collaboration of the General Directions of Work and the Prevention of Occupational Risks of the different Autonomous Communities, the National Institute of Safety and health at Work and the European Agency for Safety and Health, year to year, have become a reference within the area of occupational risk prevention in our nation and in the European Union.

This award, given annually in category:

Individual natural persons in active which stand out for the track record in the implementation and dissemination of the prevention of occupational risks in our country

Special recognition to people who have had a relevant role in the field of Safety and Hygiene at Work, or have done some concrete work of special relevance.

PRL/CSR to entities that apply preventive policies within the CSR policies.

Companies and Institutions, entities that stand out for their track record and good work in the field of Prevention of Occupational Risks.

International persons, institutions or companies from other countries that stand out for their trajectory for your career and success in the field of Prevention of Occupational Risks.

The candidates are proposed by the award-winning the previous year, the General Directions of Work of the CC.AA, the National Institute of Safety and health at Work and the European Agency for Safety and Health in the Workplace to a Mixed Commission of the CGRICT, with the agencies mentioned above, called the Commission FORECAST, that is the one who ultimately grants the awards each year.

The General Council of Industrial Relations and Labour Sciences, (CGRICT), aware of the importance of the prevention of occupational risks in the world of Industrial Relations, proceeded in the year 1998 to the creation of a distinction so-called “To PROVIDE for” in relation to the meaning of the saying castilian “best to anticipate what did not come in that dispute about what happened,” thanks to the collaboration of the General Directions of Work and the Prevention of Occupational Risks of the different Autonomous Communities, the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene in the Workplace, the Autonomic Institutes of Safety and Health at Work, the Latin american Association of Occupational Health (ALSO), the Official School of Professional Safety and Health at Work of Ecuador (COPSSTEC), National Association of Professionals in Environment, Health and Safety in the Workplace (ASONAP), the General Council of Professionals for the Health and Safety at the Work of Spain (CGPSST), Associação Nacional de Engenharia de Segurança do Trabalho (ANEST); the Forúm Lusófono de Engenharia Segurança e Saúdade no Trabalho (FoLESST); the ISSA and the OISS, and year to year, have become a reference within the area of occupational risk prevention at national and international level.

This award, given annually in category:

INDIVIDUAL, to natural persons in active which stand out for the track record in the implementation and dissemination of the prevention of occupational risks in our country.

COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS, to entities that stand out for their track record and good work in the field of Prevention of Occupational Risks.

INTERNATIONAL, to persons, institutions or companies from other countries that stand out for their trajectory for your career and success in the field of Prevention of Occupational Risks

FESVIAL, to persons, institutions or companies that have excelled in the implementation of effective policies of prevention in the area of road safety work.

IDUE-UDIMA, to persons, institutions or companies that have excelled in the implementation of effective policies of prevention in the area of the Academy, and institutions

PREVSIS, to persons, institutions or companies that have excelled in the implementation of effective policies of prevention in the area of technology in SST.

I+D+i, (National and International). To persons, institutions or companies as recognition for innovation, design as essential factors to increase the occupational health and safety, as well as to provide quality of life to the workers.

SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS, people who have had a relevant role in the field of Safety and Hygiene at Work, or have done some concrete work of special relevance.

The candidates are proposed by the award-winning the previous year, the General Directions of Work and the Prevention of Occupational Risks of the different Autonomous Communities, the Autonomic Institutes of Safety and Health at Work and the entities with the collaboration agreement with the CGRICT, to a Mixed Commission of the CGRICT, called the Commission FORECAST, that is the one who ultimately grants the awards each year.

Also, the CGRICT, to reward the performance of the excellence in the area of sciences of the work, created in 1985 Medals of Industrial Relations and Labour Sciences in their categories: Cross of the Distinguished Service and the Gold Medal of Professional Merit in their distinctive Red, Red and Yellow, Yellow and international distinctive, to persons and entities with a prominent and brilliant career in connection with the purposes of this General Council, and relating to Industrial Relations, the Labour Sciences, the Social Sciences, the Prevention of Occupational Hazards, Emergencies, Security Forces and Bodies of the State and Armed Forces, Justice, and education.
